Prescribed workout: 90 minutes easy/steady effort - race day visualization
Actual workout: 12 myles 1.27:42 avg 7:18, easy/steady effort - started at actual race time
Real easy effort just thinking about WTC next week - lots of wondering.... wondering if I'm gonna get sucked up in the excitement of the race and go out too fast, wondering how many dark horses are gonna show up this year, wondering who is gonna come back to me that went out way too fast, wondering how I'm gonna feel late in the race, wondering with proper nutrition and hydration if I'll be passing people in the end, wondering what the trail is gonna look like... the strange thing about "wondering" is that I'm in control of all that - just gotta use my experience and be smart about it.
In reality not much visualization went on today except for two recurring images; me digging into a post race In n Out Burger in Auburn while this guy make a mad dash to the finish, followed by an image of this guy buying my beer ALL NIGHT LONG!
