Lone Tree Loop - 3:30 p.m.
clear, mid 50's, dry trail
mind/body - good/minor left calf pain
medium effort
I didn't want to do anything too crazy today so I thought I'd go out to give the legs a spin and see how fast I could do a loop at Lone Tree. Did the loop (2.7 myles) in 17:12, which is a 6:22/mile. I really didn't feel like I was over doing it so it's a positive sign that I can cruise at a much faster pace thanks to my beloved speed workouts.
Tomorrow I'll go out for 16 myles to end the week. That'll give me 48 myles for the week which is where I wanted to be a week before a race.
